Coach Jeff grew up in rural Perry, New York, where he spent his high school years playing football, wrestling, and baseball. His passion for athletics led him to pursue a journalism degree at St. Bonaventure University, where he graduated in 2021. Jeff currently works as a sports writer for the Erie Times-News, covering local high school, college, and professional teams.
In August 2023, Jeff earned his NASM personal trainer certification, building on his background with amateur competitive experience in both powerlifting and bodybuilding. He brings a performance-driven approach to training, specializing in powerlifting and sport-specific development. Jeff now lives in Erie with his fiancée, Natalie, and when he’s not coaching or writing, you’ll likely find him lifting, watching baseball, or enjoying a good meal.
