What is your WHY?

Fitness and the lifestyle associated with it has molded me into someone who has a passion for learning, teaching, and making a difference in the lives of others. Body positivity as a young lady is something most women admit to struggling with from adolescence into adulthood. Even though I was active and ‘fit’ as a young girl, I still struggled with body image. I have gone through it: body dysmorphia, disordered eating, overexercising, and then the dreaded depression and weight gain. My love for sports and physical activity prompted me to change my major my 1st semester in college to exercise science, my true passion. It was at this point I decided it is my purpose to help educate people about the benefits of regular exercise. My goal is to help people work towards and reach the mindset change from negative feelings about themselves and their bodies to body positivity.
