Coach Amanda is a NASM Certified Physical Trainer, as well as a TFW Level 1 & 2 Certified Coach. She has been coaching in TFW since August of 2019.

Where are you from?
What are your certifications/accolades? How long have you been training?
I’m a PA Paramedic, NASM Certified Physical Trainer, TFW Level 1 & 2 Certified Coach. I’ve been weightlifting since high school, but only got serious after college.
What activities were you involved in high school/college?
In high school I played volleyball and softball. In college I was heavily involved in the theatre working backstage and building sets.
What are your roles at the gym? When did you start working here?
I am a TFW Coach and will be helping with our Warrior Retention Program in the coming year. I began working as an Assistant Coach in Aug 2019.
Do you have any specialties when it comes to training?
I have participated in a few Powerlifting competitions, but I do not specialize in anything other than TFW.
What’s your favorite exercise movement/type of exercise?
Strength days are my favorite, any of the main lifts but squats are definitely my favorite.
What are your favorite hobbies besides working out?
I enjoy reading. When I have the time I sail on a boat out of the Erie Yacht Club and participate in the weekly races. I love running obstacle course races and playing with my dogs.
What is your favorite food?
Chocolate is definitely high on the list of favorites. Sushi has to be near the top of the list too.
What do you value in life?
I value my family, my dogs, and my faith. I value the friends and colleagues that have become such a wonderful support system. And I value the Warriors, past, present, and future.
What is your WHY?
My purpose is to save lives, be it as a medic or coach; and to do what I can to make the world a little bit better.
